The start of the movie takes place when Tai is like three or four years old and Kari is like one or two years old. When they both get older they don't remember Digimon as well, this is due to their creative disappearing so they can become adults.

Koromon from the series is not the same one from the movie when it has the cute and young Tai, this can be proved when you listen to both of the Greymon's attacks. In the movie the first time you see Greymon he called out, 'Noble Flame.' When you see Tai and he's older and has a friend called Izzy the Greymon from that timeline calls out, 'Noble Breath.' Also if you watch in the series when the Digidestined group returns to Earth they start to remember when they were all the same age a cute and young Tai if not younger.

On there it also explains that the two Agumon were not the same. Also if they were then on the first episode of Digimon Adventure, Koromon would have most likely asked why Tai didn't remember him. But this is all just my theory and i'm not forcing you to believe it. I just hope that I helped a fellow Digimon fan, even if I helped a little bit. I'm pretty sure that it was a different Koromon that Tai met when he was younger. I'm pretty sure that Tai himself stated in the movie that the Koromon from his childhood is different than the Koromon that he partnered up with.

For other reasons that he doesn't remember [the species] Koromon or Digimon in general is probably just due to plain forgetting. The show never gave a good explanation of why the Digidestined forgot the encounter with Greymon and Parrotmon, they just forgot (maybe due to a young age).
